Our Veterinarians

Dr. Melissa Fogelson (with Liesel) has been a dedicated veterinarian at Methuen Veterinary Hospital since 1999 and became an owner in 2006.  She received an undergraduate degree from Colgate University and then her DVM from Cornell University in 1991.  As a general practitioner, Dr. Fogelson's areas of special interest include both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery as well as seeing a variety of exotic pets. She understands the importance of providing her clients with exceptional care to ensure a healthy, long lasting relationship.  Dr. Fogelson enjoys playing tennis as well as traveling.

Dr. Suzanne Kane (with Penelope) has been a devoted veterinarian at Methuen Veterinary Hospital since 1995 and became an owner in 2006.  She received a BA in biology from Brandeis University and then her DVM degree from Cornell in 1991.  As a general practitioner, Dr. Kane has a strong interest in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.  She is compassionate and devoted to providing her clients with exceptional veterinary care.  In her free time, Dr. Kane enjoys beekeeping, gardening and volunteering her time with a variety of organizations.

Dr. Annika Gerow (with Baloo) has been a devoted member of our team at Methuen Veterinary Hospital since 2004.  She attended Tufts University where she received a bachelor's degree in Biology in 1997 and continued on at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2001. Dr. Gerow's primary interests are general medicine, surgery and exotic small mammal medicine.  She always strives to spend time communicating with her clients to ensure they understand their pets illness and their treatment options while reducing the pet's anxiety.    In her free time she can usually be found attending to her beehive and her flower gardens when she is not chasing after her two boys.  She has a lab mix (Baloo), and 2 cats.  She also enjoys reading and traveling.
